The issue of origins has been a hot topic and continues to be so. The basic issue is between creation and evolution. The issues are complex from there, but boils down to the main premise introduced by this site - What is the truth? The great thing is, we all have the same information. The real question is "What does the information really tell us?" Dependant on our worldview, our answers will vary. We're continually bombarded with evolutionary teaching. We've all been 'evolutionized' to some extent. We're trained from an early age to believe that the earth is billions of years old, that we evolved from apes, etc. Even children's cartoons push this philosophy. The truth is that we can't prove either creation or evolution scientifically. Both beliefs are accepted by faith. In fact, given that information, even atheism is a religion. It is blind faith at it's worst. We need to look at the the evidence we have and determine the best, most logical conclusion. The worldview and bias you hold will greatly affect your ability to reason through each particular issue.
